Captain Le Guen. — One Royal Naval source gives the wreck location as New Island, but others mention Elephant Harbour. — Elephant Bay could be either on the West side of George Island or the North East side of Pebble Island, where there is both a Wreck Point and a Little Wreck Point. — There is no Elephant Harbour listed in the Falkland Islands Gazetteer.
