Having brought into Stanley the crew of the wrecked GEORGE BUTZ on 23rd December 1854, the CHANCE left Stanley again on 12th January 1855 for Grand Jason to recover some of the wrecked GEORGE BUTZ’s cargo. When the TEKOA, Captain Kean, which left Stanley on 16th January 1855, arrived at Grand Jason to recover more of GEORGE BUTZ’s cargo, the CHANCE was found to have been wrecked on Grand Jason. The TEKOA brought the crew of the CHANCE and some cargo recovered from the GEORGE BUTZ into Stanley on 26th January 1855. —- A.K.A: 1852 1854 AGENORA; 1854 1855 CHANCE.
